  The John Marshall House, located on the corner of Ninth and Marshall Streets in Richmond, has been continously insured by the Society since 1796.
 
Mutual Assurance Society of Virginia was founded in 1794 to serve the fire insurance needs of Virginians. Today we operate in much the same way as we did at our beginning.
